You can easily find Crawl Errors in the Google Search Console in the \u201cCoverage\u201d report:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you notice Google is having trouble accessing one of your important web pages (for example, robots.txt is blocking search engine spiders), you\u2019ll want to get that fixed ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Find Out How Google Views Your Page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sometimes users can see everything on your page\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026but Google can\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Again:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If Google can\u2019t fully access your page, it won\u2019t rank.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s why I recommend using the Google Search Console\u2019s \u201cFetch and Render\u201d feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just head over to \u201cCrawl\u201d \u2013> \u201cFetch as Google\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And enter a page from your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you do, you\u2019ll see your page from Google\u2019s point of view:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Very helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Make Sure Your Site is Mobile-Friendly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Google recently launched a new \u201cMobile-First Index\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Which means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If your site isn\u2019t mobile optimized, it\u2019s not going to rank very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fortunately, you can easily see your site\u2019s mobile friendliness with Google\u2019s Mobile-Friendly Test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just pop in a page from your site\u2026 and get a clear \u201cyes or no\u201d answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pretty cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Fix Broken Links<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Broken links can REALLY hurt your SEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So you definitely want to find broken links\u2026 and fix them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The easiest way to do that? DrLinkCheck.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s a free tool that scans your site for broken links:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Secure Your Site With HTTPS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n HTTPS is a confirmed Google ranking signal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, if you haven\u2019t already, it\u2019s time to move your site to HTTPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (Or if you just launched a new site, set it up with HTTPS on day 1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here\u2019s a guide to help you migrate your site to HTTPS\u2026 without hurting your SEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.
